Memorial services for Maurice Scott, 90, of Scammon, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 30 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Weir. He died Monday, June 12 at his home. The family will receive friends at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Weir from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, June 29.

Gary Lee Lambert, 62, of Olathe, died Tuesday, June 18, 2023 at Olathe Medical Center. Born March 27, 1961 in Baxter Springs, Gary was the son of the Judith Ann Lambert. He grew up in Southeast Kansas before going to the Missouri School for the Deaf at High School age.

Patricia Ann Stice, 86, of Oswego, died peacefully following a short illness at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Born in Bartlett, December 20, 1936, Patricia was the daughter of Freddie and Mabel (Walker) Thornburg. She was raised in Scammon and the rural Columbus area.

Betty J. Fiihr, 97, of Columbus died Tuesday June 20, 2023 at home in Columbus. She was a homemaker. Arrangements are by Midland Cremation Society of Joplin.

Sharon Rosalie (Garrison) Campbell-Adkins, 83, of Webb City, Mo., died at 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Webb City Health and Rehab, Webb, City, Mo. following an illness. Born August 1, 1939 in Columbus, Sharon was the daughter of Francis and Hanna Jane (Brigman) Garrison.

Dale Harold Crane, of Quapaw Oklahoma, died June 21, 2023. He was born October 3, 1953. With the exception of the last six months, Dale lived his entire life in Lowell. He graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1971.
