Tiffany LeAnn Thomas, 31, of Quapaw, Okla., died Sunday, June 18, 2023, at her home. Born March 18, 1992, in Joplin, Mo., Tiffany was the daughter of Matthew Wayne and Sheila (Sargent) Thomas. She had lived in the Picher and Quapaw, Okla. area all her life.

Everett Barragar, 90, Oswego

Everett E. Barragar, 90, of Oswego, formerly of Parsons and Golden, Mo. died at 9:44 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Labette Health. Born February 26, 1933, in Independence, Everett was the son of Earl Jennings and Grace Mae (Stocker) Barragar. They preceded him in death.

Helen Dahlin, 73, Columbus

Helen F. Dahlin, 73, of Columbus, died at 2:35 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at Oswego Health and Rehab, following an illness. Born February 27, 1950, in Columbus, Helen was the daughter of Alfred H and Ruth Veronica (Flanagan) Niggemann. She was a lifetime resident of Columbus.

Helen Dahlin, 73 of Columbus, died June 16, 2023, in Oswego. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 22 at Park Cemetery Pavilion, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home.

Lela Rae Nowlin, 83 of Quapaw, Okla., died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Mercy Hospital of Joplin, Mo. Born in the Picher/ Cardin, Oklahoma area, Lela was the daughter of Roy R. Heatherly and Leatha M. (Rhodes) Heatherly. They preceded her in death.

Felicity Ann Oliver, 52, of Baxter Springs, died Friday, June 2, 2023 at her home. Born Tuesday, May 11, 1971, Felicity was the daughter of Thomas and Sylvia (Wiles) Roda. She worked as a CNA at Galena Manor.

Maurice M. Scott, 90, of Scammon, died Monday, June 12, 2023, at his home. Born May 3, 1933, in Weir, Maurice was the son of Raymond and Nelle (Merrick) Scott. They preceded him in death.

Doil Nolan Cummins, 61, of Weir died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home. Born July 13, 1961 in Pittsburg, Doil was the son of Winford and Connie (Bolinger) Cummins. Doil is survived by his son, Dillon Cummins of Carthage, Mo.; a daughter, Brandy Cummins of Ozark, Mo.
