Robert Edward Harlow, 94 of Columbus, died June 7, 2023, at Medicalodge in Columbus, after an illness. Born May 5, 1929, at Alamedia, Calif., Robert was the son of George Í. Winfield and Beatrice Boehmer Harlow. He attended school in Alameda and Oakland, Calif.

Cutter Purscelley

Cutter James Purscelley, 20, of Galena died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at his home. Born August 1, 2002, in Chickasha, Okla., Cutter James was the son of Bryan Leroy Purscelley and Jennifer Lynn Enloe. He had lived in Galena for the past eight years, moving from Montana.

Robert “Bob” Cussimanio, 77, of Frontenac, died June 4, 2023, at Medicalodge Frontenac where he had been a resident since May 19. Born September 12, 1945, in Pittsburg, Bob was the son of Joseph F. and Emalene Agnes Jones Cussimanio.

Barbara Burnett, 60, of Chetopa, died at 3:50 a.m., Sunday, June 4, 2023, at her home. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 10, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Diana Hamlet, Springfield, Mo.

Diana Michelle Tarter-Hamlet, 21, Springfield, Mo., died June 4, 2023. Born October 23, 2001, Diana was eager to enter this world, and was born at 26 weeks’ gestation, only weighing two lbs. She was a fighter from birth and defied the odds and grew into an amazing young woman.

Cora Beckwith, 90, Oswego

Cora Louise Beckwith, 90, of Oswego, died June 4, 2023. Born in Mountain View, Okla., July 22, 1932, Cora was the daughter of James Adrian and Edna Lee Barton Hawke. They preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Cleo Springs High School in Oklahoma.

Denzil Lee Thompson, 84 of Columbus, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at his home in Columbus. Born Monday, December 5, 1938 in Picher, Okla. Lee was the son of Lester and Ollie Hamilton.

Shirley Leota Roy, 87, of Jefferson City, Mo., died at 4:30 p.m.Sunday, June 4, 2023, at her home following an illness. Born December 8, 1935, in Carthage, Mo., Shirley was the daughter of William and Else Piercy. She had moved to Jefferson City, Mo. in 2017 from Diamond, Mo.

James Culp, 82, St. Paul

James Anthony Culp (Jim) 82 formerly of Eureka and Yates Center died peacefully at his home in St. Paul Thursday, June 1, 2023. Born May 29, 1941, in Evansville, Indiana Jim was one of twelve children.
