Lady Raiders cage Lady Lions

A stifling defense by the Lady Raiders and a full court press in the first half, forced the Lady Lions to make too many turnovers resulting in a Frontenac win, 51-19, Friday in Baxter Springs. Baxter Springs was limited to a three-pointer by senior, Olivia Turley to end the first quarter, 3-16.

Titan Wrestling Club captures wins in Diamond Open

The Columbus Titan Wrestling Club had two wrestlers earn first place wins at the Diamond Youth Wrestling Open Tournament, Saturday, in Diamond, Mo. Six-year-old, Baylor Bowman won his 50-pound bracket and Cam Carter won his ten-yearold, 65-pound bracket.

The Central Junior High School Seventh and Eight Grade Lady Titan Basketball Teams will be playing for third place in the CCCJL League Tournament tomorrow night in Girard. The Seventh Grade Team played Girard, Monday, in the semi-final of the tournament and suffered a 35-4 loss.

Lady Titan Wrestling third in Bentonville Tourney

The Columbus Lady Titan Wrestling Team traveled to Centerton, Arkansas and came home with a third place finish in the Bentonville West 2021 Girls Invitational.

CUHS Titan Wrestlers hit the mats in Centerton, Arkansas, Saturday for the Bentonville West Tournament. Columbus came away with eighth place in the 16-team tournament against some tough out of state competition.

Titans beat Indians for tourney title

The Columbus Titans closed out the St. Paul Mark Terlip Classic Tournament with a win over the Indians, 58-35, Friday in St. Paul. The win gave the Titans their fifth straight tournament championship, including the first two championships following the name change from the St.

The St. Paul Lady Indians swept their home tournament with a win over the Columbus Lady Titans, 42-24, after defeating Chetopa and Southeast earlier in the week, to take the tournament championship title, Friday in St. Paul.
