The Baxter Springs girls (1-1) lost at home against the Quapaw Lady Wildcats, 47-43, Tuesday. The opening period was evened at four with seniors, Olivia Turley and Emmalee Williams, each scoring for Baxter Springs. Junior, Hallee White, hit a three-pointer.

The Baxter Springs Lions dominated in their Tuesday game against the Quapaw Wildcats, in Baxter Springs, 49-13. The boys finished the opening period up 18-1. The Wildcats scored their one-point with 2:35 left in the first quarter with a free throw.

Titan junior, Jake Eddington, returned to his home mats following a season off with injury, Thursday, in a triangular with Girard and Frontenac. Jake won both matches including a fall against Raider Wrestler, Gauge Peterson.

The Columbus Wrestling Team came away with wins by the Titans and Lady Titans in their home opener, Thursday. The Lady Titans won their dual with Girard, 48-12, with sophomore, Sophie Lloyd, junior, Jailyn Rodriguez and senior, Emily Welch winning their matches.

The Central Junior High School will be playing in the CCCJ League Tournament tonight and Thursday in Girard. The league seventh grade teams will open the tourney tonight with the consolation round robin tournament along with all semi-final games.
