The Columbus Third and Fourth Grade Mini Titan team took a 14-6 win over Independence, September 18 in their home opener. The Mini Bulldogs received the ball to start the game. They went three and out in their first series and Columbus took over on their own 40-yard line.

Tuesday, September 21 the Southeast Lady Lancers varsity and junior varsity squads went 0-2 in a triangular at Jayhawk-Linn. It took three sets for the Lady Jayhawks to get the win over Southeast, 25-22; 19-25; 26-24. Senior, Kalle Bitner, scored nine kills.

Rams butt the Bluestreaks in first district game

The Riverton Rams were in Bluestreak country in Neodesha, Friday, taking a Kansas Class 2A District win over their host, 53-7. The visitors compiled 298 yards rushing and 108 passing, amassing 408 yards of total offense. The Rams crossed the goal line on their first two possessions.

The Central Junior High School Cross Country Team hosted a meet Tuesday at the Brush Creek Golf Course. Two Titans and one Lady Titan medaled in the event. Drake Laurance finished second in the boys race with a time of 13:21 minutes and Brayden Green finished sixth with a time of 14:28 minutes.
