The Titan Varsity Baseball Team added two wins to their record with a sweep of the Riverton Rams, 3-0 and 6-5 at Bomber Field, Monday.
Sophomore, Seth Stover, pitched the game-one shut out for the Titans, allowing three hits and striking out ten.
The cancellation of Kansas State Music Competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, gave the Baxter Springs Baseball Team an opportunity to host a few games outside of their CNC League schedule.

The Columbus Titan Junior Varsity Squad came away with two wins on Bomber Field, Friday over CNC League foe, Girard, 9-8 and 5-1.
The game was played in Columbus due to a change that moved the varsity game to Girard the day before because of wet field conditions.
The Lady Titan Junior Varsity Softball Team earned a two-game sweep over the visiting St. Mary’s-Colgan Lady Panthers, April 27 in Columbus, 9-8 and 13-12.
Macey Allison hit a two-out triple to give the Lady Titans the 9-8, game one, win in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Lady Titan Senior, Kerri Jones, set a new school record in the 100 Meter Hurdles at the Girard Optimist Track and Field Meet, Friday at Frank Jameson Field in Girard. Jones first place run of 16.03 seconds surpassed her old record of 16.
Riverton hosted a Junior Varsity Golf Invitational Tournament, Monday on a beautiful overcast day. Baxter Springs took team honors with a score of 406 for the combined scorecard tally. Girard placed second with a team total of 459, edging St.
Lady Titan Senior, Kerri Jones, broke the Columbus Unified High School record in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Friday at the Girard Optimist Track and Field Meet. She is being recognized as Titan of the Week.
Kerri’s time of 16.03 seconds set the new record by breaking her own previous mark of 16.
