Back to school bash planned Saturday

A back-to-school bash is planned at Tennessee Prairie Church this Saturday, August 8.From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. there will be hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy.Free school supplies will be handed out while supplies last.

More plants on the plate program planned

Residents are invited to join K-State Extension for an engaging and practical program, “More Plants on the Plate,” designed to help individuals and families discover simple ways to add more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes to everyday meals.The program will be held August 18 at 6 p.m.
