More than 3,000 voters turned out to the polls across Cherokee County Tuesday to cast ballots in the August primary election. Of that number, more than two-thirds were registered Republicans.

Another All School Reunion for Mineral High School alumni is in the works. This reunion will be held at the new part of the Catholic Parish Hall in Scammon from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. August 29.Dinner will be served at approximately 5 p.m.
