John T. Harris, 90, Columbus, formerly of Parsons, died at 3:53 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2024 at the Quaker Hill Skilled Nursing facility in Baxter Springs. His wife, Mona, preceded him in death on July 24, 2020.

Robert Andrew Mikel, 88, Parsons, died at 11:52 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his home. Born August 27, 1935, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin Robert was the son of Andrew and Gladys (Hanley) Mikels. He was the third child of 14.

Lorna Buckmaster, 82, Riverton

Lorna Buckmaster, 82, died Thursday January 11, 2024 in Columbus. Born September 12, 1941, Lorna was the daughter of Wade and Lavon Kirk. She was a lifetime resident of Riverton. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gary Buckmaster. Lorna and Gary were united in marriage in 1989.

Daniel Cleve (Sonny) Renn, 82, rural Pittsburg, died January 7, 2024 at KU Medical Center after a short illness. Born June 12, 1941 in rural Pittsburg, Sonny was the son of Cleve Renn and Lily (Janeski) Renn in. He grew up in the Lone Star area and attended the Lone Star Grade School.
