Ted W. “Moon” Pryor Sr., 92, of Mulberry, died at 7:06 a.m., Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital at Joplin, Mo. Born January 14, 1929 at Mulberry, Ted was the son of Merle and Vida Prince Pryor. Ted was a retired heavy equipment operator for P & M Coal Company for 21 years at Asbury, Mo.

Ronald Blodgett, 73, Galena

Ronald “Ron” Allen Blodgett, 73, of Galena, died Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his home. Born October 20, 1948 in Aurora Ill., Ron, was the son of John and Thais (Poirel) Blodgett. They preceded him in death. Ron was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Carol Smiley, 74, Quapaw, Okla.

Carol Jean Smiley, 74, of Quapaw, Okla. died Sunday December 26, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Miami, Okla. Born November 14, 1947 in Joplin, Mo., Carol was the daughter of Charles L. Crane and Irma L. (Scott) Crane. She graduated from Miami High School with the class of 1965.

Barry Rowe, 89, Joplin, Mo.

Barry Alan Rowe, 89, of Joplin, Mo and formerly of Iola, died Thursday, December 23, 2021. Born July 1, 1932 in Joplin, Mo., Barry was the son of William and Malburn Rowe. Barry was a two-year member of the United States Army, serving from November 26, 1952 until November 23, 1954.

Michelle Janet Gross, 61, of Osawatomie, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Osawatomie State Hospital. Born May 8, 1960 in Kansas City, Michelle was the daughter of Michael James and June F. (Battaglia) Gross.

Lillian Walton, 80, Oswego

Lillian Louean Walton, 80, of Oswego and formerly of Burlington, died at 6:05 a. m, Saturday, December 25, 2021 at her daughter’s home. Her husband, Bill Walton, preceded her in death in February of this year.

Ida Lois Jameson, 84, Chetopa

Ida L. Jameson, 84, of Chetopa, died at her home at 9:53 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2021. Born January 19, 1937 in Chetopa Ida Lois was the daughter of William McKinley Armstrong and Juanita Madolyn (Jones) Armstrong. They preceded her in death.

Cheryl Ann Nash, 48, Columbus

Cheryl A. Nash, 48, of rural Columbus, did at 9:02 a.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg. Born June 24, 1973 in Neosho, Mo. Cheryl Ann was the daughter of Harlan and Trudie (Carmen) Reynolds. She grew up in Neosho where she attended the Ozark Christian School.

Philip B. Blair, 78, of Oswego, died December 17, 2021 at his home after a long illness. Born December 9, 1943, Philip was the son of Bill and Phyllis Blair.
