Keith Leroy Flower, 72, of Columbus, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Born May 10, 1948 and raised in Winfield, Keith was the son of Keith Melvin and Barbara (Hada) Flower. Keith graduated from Winfield High School, with the class of 1966.

George Benten Lee Sr, 86, of Independence, died Sunday, January 31, 2021 at The Parsons Hospital. Born January 26, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, George was the son of Robert E. And Bessie Lee. He was one of 16 siblings. George attended school through the eighth grade.

William Arnold Stevens, 76 of Girard, formerly of Cherokee, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his home. He was born November 12, 1944 in Pittsburg. William was the son of Howard Arnold and Alma Lucille (McGlaughlin). He attended school at McCune and graduated from the McCune High School.

William J. “Bill” Walton, 82, of Webb City, Mo., former resident of Oswego and Burlington, died at his home at 3:08 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born June 9, 1938, on the family farm near Newton, Bill was the son of Leo James and Mabel Vance (Siehndel) Walton.

Gregory Thomas Kiel, 49, died February 5, 2021 in Castle Rock, Colo. He was born January 2, 1972 to Stafford (Gene) Kiel and Mary Frances (LaSota) Kiel in Fort Scott. Greg grew up in Oswego and attended high school there and in Pittsburg, graduating from Pittsburg High School in 1990.

Luana Gay Henderson, 63, of Baxter Springs, died February 4, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Born July 15, 1957 in Baxter Springs, Luana was the daughter of Richard and Shirley (Tyler. Luana married Denny Henderson September 15, 1990 in Baxter Springs. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Larry D. Dalton, 82, of Oswego, died at 10:28 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at his home. Born November 12, 1938, in Chanute, Larry was the son of Lloyd and Doris (Cox) Dalton. He grew up and attended school in Chanute. He was a graduate of Chanute High School with the class of 1956.
