Columbus Titan Head Wrestling Coach presented a four-year wrestling scholarship to senior, Brooklyn Collingsworth from Northeastern (Oklahoma) State University in the total amount of $20,000 during the May 15, 2026 Senior Assembly at the CUHS Gymnasium.
Five Columbus Unified High School Seniors received Tuition Scholarships from Labette Community College during the 2026 Senior Assembly, May 15, at the CUHS Gymnasium. LCC Representatives Elizabeth Kitterman and Mia Howard presented the scholarship certificates to Skyler Saporito, Gauge Buergin, Adalie Grafel, Broland Gibson,and Aubrie Wilson. Kemper Dobkins received a $300 LCC Cardinal Scholarship.
Jensen Hale, CUHS Senior, received a scholarship from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College during the 2026 Senior Assembly at the Columbus High School Gymnasium. Presenting the scholarship was Jerry Smiley, USD 493 instructor.
The Columbus Cal Ripken 10U All-Stars begin their Kansas District 5 Tournament tonight in Parsons. Columbus kicks off the tournament in Game 1 against Neodesha at 6 p.m. Team members are front row: Fox Pelt, Jack Jessee, Summit Melton, and Sawyer Studebaker.
