Columbus Unified High School Senior Students receiving the Great Gorilla Scholarship from Pittsburg State University Representative, Colin Coronado are: Darcy Garrett ($3,000), Kiara Goff ($1,500), Hunter Ruddick ($3,000), Trinity Green ($4000), and Austin Ash ($1,500). The scholarships were awarded at the CUHS Senior Assembly, May 15, at the high school gymnasium. Trinity Green also received a PSU Gibson Brunson Scholarship in the amount of $700.

Baylor Bowman and Lillian Hale punched their tickets to the AAU National Junior Olympic Track and Field Meet with qualifying performances at the Region 16 National Qualifier in Wichita June 25-28.
