Eight county fire departments receive funds

Eight Cherokee County Fire departments are receiving annual distributions totaling $110,629 from the Kansas Insurance Department. Pursuant to the Kansas Firefighters Relief Act, $110,629.46 has been distributed among eight local FRAs within Cherokee County.
