Book vending machine planned for Central

A partnership between the Columbus School District and the Columbus Public Library is set to reward rambunctious readers with a brand new book vending machine. Area youngsters should expect to see the device installed at Central School in the near future.

Area Accident Report

A two-vehicle injury accident occurred April 24 at approximately 11:57 p.m. A 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by Rancher Dionis, 21, Neosho, Mo., was traveling north on Missouri Highway 175, five miles north of Neosho. Dionis crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2011 Kia Optima head on.

Benjamin Allen Graham, 39, was arrested Sunday by Columbus Police officers on charges of disorderly conduct and theft of property or services and is being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.
