Labette County Jail Report

Kaitlyn Nicole Chambers, 30, was arrested Tuesday by Kansas Department of Corrections on a parole violation and is being held without bail.

Cherokee County Jail Report

Timothy Lee Johnson, 51, was arrested Thursday by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies on charges of criminal trespass and is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Wildcat 4-H places high in contests

Wildcat 4-H livestock, meats, quiz bowl and skill-a-thon judging teams traveled to Kansas State University for the state 4-H sweepstakes contest over the weekend. Wildcat District 4-H is comprised of youth from Crawford, Labette, Montgomery and Wilson counties.
