Reservations needed for Scottish Rite dinner, meeting

All members of the Southeast Kansas Scottish Rite are ask to attend the Stated Dinner and Meeting Thursday, September 2 at the Armstrong Masonic Lodge, 3105 North Joplin Street, Pittsburg. Social Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and the Meeting will start at approximately 7 p.

Make plans to help clean up Columbus

Columbus PRIDE would like to invite residents to join them in a Community Clean Up Day. Volunteers can assist with picking up trash and cleaning up Columbus. Anyone wishing to help can meet outside the Columbus Community Building Tuesday, September 28 at 10 a.m.

The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. By appointment only. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays 9 a.m.-noon. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon.
