Simpson to All-Kansas Academic Team

Labette Community College has named Peyton Simpson and Ashley Horton to the All-Kansas Academic Team for 2021. The two Tau Theta Members of Phi Theta Kappa will be honored during virtual event in March. Peyton Simpson is a Graphic Design major with a 4.0 grade point average.

How are your goals progressing this year? While teaching another Extension course recently, I was reminded how helpful it is to write down some action plans and verbalize those plans with others. This reminded me of a couple of other tools I learned about setting goals and working on action plans.

There were many small potteries making stoneware and other ceramics for use in the kitchen, bedroom or farm. Most utensils made in America by the 1800s were made with thick pottery sides in simple shapes with almost no decoration.

Trenton E. Sinclair, 25, was arrested Monday by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies on charges of driving under the influence and is being held without bail. Taylor Jordan Siegert, 29, was arrested Monday by Jasper County Mo., on a warrant and is being held without bail.
