Karen Jackson, 81, of Joplin, Mo., died Friday August 20, 2021 at her home after a brief illness. Born February 22, 1940 in Carthage, Mo., Karen was the daughter of Walter (Leo) and Loraine Taylor. She graduated from Cherokee County Community High School with the class of 1958.

Tracy Blankenship, Kimberling City, Mo.

Tracy Dawn Blankenship, 51, of Kimberling City, Mo. died August 19, 2021, at 1:32 a.m. Born June 18, 1970, Webb City, Mo. Tracy was the daughter of Jerry and Ruth (Coble) Hagemen. She married Bill Blankenship July 10, 2004. They made their home in Kimberling City, Mo. He survives.

William “Bill” Raymond Richards, 54, of Columbus, died 5:13 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital of Joplin, Mo. Born September 22, 1966 in Appleton City, Mo. Bill was the son of Everett Eugene Richards and Ora “Nadine” (Hartman) Richards.

Lorene Brannin, 85, of Oswego, died at 9:15 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at her home. Born March 3, 1936 in Cherokee County, Lorene was the daughter of James E and Marie Ruth (Stapleton) Casey. Lorene was a longtime resident of Oswego.

James Dale, 74, Coffeyville

James Michael “Mike” Dale, 74, of Coffeyville died August 16, 2021 at his home. Born October 13, 1946, in Joplin, Mo., Mike was the son of William and Irene (Epperson) Dale. He was raised in Scammon. He was a graduate of South East High School.

T.J. Williamson, 96, Wichita

T. J. Williamson, 96 of Wichita, died peacefully Tuesday August 2, 2021. Born December 21, 1924 in the miniscule town of Mulberry in Crawford County, T.J. was the son of James Thomas and Edna (Andrews) Williamson. He was born in a house owned by the railroad company for which his father worked.

Flora Lorene Brannin, 85, of Oswego, died August 20, 2021. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 25, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church at Oswego. The church is located at 302 Merchant St.

Dahronda Sue Long, 59, of Hallowell, died August 20 , 2021 peacefully. Born December 23, 1961, Sue was the daughter of Ellis May Jr. and Betty J. May. They preceded her in death. Sue was also preceded in death by her brother John May. Sue was a Christian who loved the lord.
